William Cohagan, son of Aquilla Cohagan and Elizabeth Carey, married Idella Bush, daughter of Jacob N Bush and Armina Craig, on August 22, 1895, in Nebraska.

They had three children, Geneva Belle, Chester Paul, and Donald Alton Cohagan.

"W. L. Cohagan, 72, pioneer Hordville, Neb., businessman who retired 20 years ago and moved to Central City, died at his home here Friday after a long illness. Funeral services will be held here Monday. Survivors include two sons, Paul of Central City, and Sgt. Donald Cohagan, believed to be in Sicily with the army, and a daughter, Mrs. Geneva Hopkins, Wichita, Kansas."
