Graveside services for Rual Bridges, 81, of Mabank, were held October 1 at Resthaven Memorial Park. The Rev. J. B. Shewmake, pastor of Travis Baptist Church, officiated.
Mr. Bridges died September 29 at his home.
He was born February 24, 1914, in Decatur. He served in the U.S. Amry in Europe during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Carrie L. Bridges.
Survivors include his wife, Jewell Bridges of Mabank; a son, Garry L. Bridges of Denver City; two daughters, Karon Davis of San Angelo and Lana Bridges of Midland; two sisters, Oddist Hudgins of Midland and Lois Moore of Grandbury; a grandson and two granddaughters.
