Funeral services were held in the Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel, December 19, with the Rev. Eddie Milligan of Cottondale and the Rev. Gilbert Rhine of Bridgeport officiating. Burial was in the Paradise Cemetery.
Mr. Bridges was born in Wise County February 8, 1905. He was a member of the Oddfellow Lodge.
Pallbearers were Don Gentry, Merlin Remmele, Gus Bridges, Harold Reed, Pete Ferguson, and Norman Rowe.
Survivors include two brothers, T. W. Bridges of Paradise, and Raul Bridges of Midland, and four sisters, Estelle Murphy of Paradise, Lola Brown of Poolville, Odist Hudgins of Midland and Lois Huckabee of Granbury.
