Death Visits Home Thrice Within a Few Weeks
The funeral of Mrs. Eliza Jane Clark, widow of Thomas L. Clark, whose death occurred one week ago last Sunday, was held from the Presbyterian Church at Acton on Sunday.
Mrs. Clark died at her home in Greenwood on Friday afternoon and the remains were buried in the same lot which received the remains of the husband one week before.
On Thanksgiving day, Roscoe Clark, a grandson of the aged couple was shot accidently while hunting and died a few days after. He was twenty years of age and a prominent and popular young man residing near Acton.
The grandmother, Eliza Jane Clark, was a native of Franklin County. She came from a long line of revolutionary stock and her family was closely associated with educational interests in Ohio.
She was united in marriage to Mr. Clark in Franklin County over forty years ago. Their only surviving child is Milton Clark of Acton.
Mrs. Clark was a woman of superior refinement and education and numbered her friends by the score. She was a close follower of the tenets of the Presbyterian Church of which she was a life-long member.
