Daughter of John Asbury Hunt and Martha Hortense (Baldwin) Hunt of Neosho Co., Kansas, 2nd wife of Charles Milas McMillan. She lost an eye as a small child in an accident with her mother's sewing scissors. Although she wore a glass eye it did not turn in the socket like her unaffected eye and it gave her the appearance of being cross-eyed in this picture. She was a very feminine and petite lady according to family, although quite intelligent and educated beyond the normal for women in those days. She was an ordained minister and also married to one. She and Rev. McMillan married 24 Feb 1928 when Clara was almost 42 years old. They did not have children.
