He was absent sick again at Brownsville, TX, from 20 Jul 1865 to Nov 1865, when he was on detached service as an attendant in the Post Hospital. He was still working at the hospital in Jun 1866; returned to unit in Sep 1866. Mustered out on 26 Nov 1866 at New Orleans, LA."
