Lova Allen, 88, of South Jordan, returned home into the loving arms of her Savior, surrounded by loved ones, Thursday Feb. 7, 2008.

Lova was born in South Jordan Jan. 31, 1920 to Alfred Ray and Sarah Jane Web Beckstead. Later she married her eternal sweetheart Ronald W. Royce in the Salt Lake Temple in 1944. After Ronald's passing in 1981, Lova served a full time mission in San Jose, CA. Following her mission she married David Allen, a wonderful man, who later passed away in 1983. This grand and elect lady led an expansive life of service in her family, church, her community, and received the love and respect of all she came in contact with.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Dixie (Joseph). Survived by her sister, Mada (Carl) DeMill; daughter, Randi (David); and sons, Roger (Donna), Roland (Janette), Richard (Jan), and Rodney (Teresa); 28 grandchildren; and 56 great-grandchildren along with many more friends and family.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at 11 a.m., at the River Ridge First Ward, 1229 W. 10775 S. A viewing will be on Mon. at the Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 S. 2200 W., Riverton from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday, prior to the Funeral Services from 10-10:45 a.m.
Interment in the South Jordan City Cemetery.
