"Death of Greenville Graves - A dispatch was received in this city yesterday announcing the death of Greenville Graves. It will be remembered that Mr. Graves was adjudged insane some four weeks ago, and was taken to the asylum at Kankakee. He was getting along as well as could be expected until last Friday, when he had a stroke of paralysis, which resulted in his death yesterday morning at 10 o'clock.

His age was 72 years, and he was one of the oldest residents in Vermilion County, having resided her fifty-two years. He was the father of Mrs. S.A. Leaverton and Taylor Graves, this city: Mrs. J.H. Dougherty and Mrs. A.B. Russell, of Fairmount; Mrs. Samuel Black, of Westville; Mr. D.S. Graves, of Springfield, and J.H. Graves, of Cherryvale, Kan., by his first wife, and has two daughters by his second wife, the Misses Julia and Flora, who, with their mother, reside a mile and a half east of town on the Perrysville road.

The remains will arrive in the city this afternoon. Due notice will be given of the funeral in tomorrow morning's issue. " (Obituary provided by KC)
