BLANCHE HALL KENNEDY

Blanche Hall Kennedy [Frances "Blanche" (Drake) Hall Burns Kennedy], 66, Encinitas, Calif., a former resident of Sioux City, died March 7 in an Encinitas hospital after undergoing surgery.

Mrs. Kennedy, the former Blanche Drake, was born in 1921 [1920]. She attended school in Sioux City and lived there until she married Thomas Hall in 1941 [1942] at Lowry Field, Colo. He was killed in Germany while serving in the U.S. Army during World War II.

[Blanche had a career of 25 plus years with the Forest Service in Twin Falls, Idaho.]

Survivors include her husband, Clifford Kennedy of Encinitas; a daughter, Carolyn [Caroline] Bauman of New York City [Matawan, New Jersey]; [and a son, Joseph Patrick Burns, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; and three granddaughters.]

Services and burial were March 10 in Encinitas.
