Donald Darold DeWitt, 59, Concordia, Kansas, died Jan. 25, 1991, at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Wichita, KS He was born July 18, 1931, at Concordia.

He lived most of his life in Concordia and was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He had been employed by Reece Construction of Scandia for 32 years. He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Concordia.

Survivors include his wife, Martha, Concordia; four sons, Edward, Hesston, KS; Eugene, Pensacola, FL; Vernon, McPherson, KS; Daniel, Concordia; two daughters, Debra Pryor, McPherson, KS; Ruby DeWitt Aurora, KS; three brothers, Charles, San Marcos, TX; Harry, Concordia; Russell, Scandia, KS; four sisters, Dorothy Bohm, Salina, KS; Ellen Stolzenburg, Clyde, KS; Lola Jean Cady, Mankato, KS; Margaret Gile, Scandia; and six grandchildren.

Graveside services at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Concordia. A military service will follow by the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Memorials may be made to the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Wichita.
