Allen was their only child.
He was the grandson of Rev.Robert H.
Long and Lucinda 'Holt' Long.
Also William T. Jones and Ellen Jones.
His parents were married on September 6,
1891 at Highlandville, Christian County,
Missouri.
The couple were married by J.H.
Billingsley, JP.
Allen's father was licensed to preach
the Gospel, October 3, 1891 by the Calvary
Baptist Church, in Christian Co., Missouri.
His mother was the daughter of William T.
Jones and Ellen L. Jones,of Highlandville,
Christian County, Missouri.
The baby lived for 17 days when God called
him home to be one of His heavenly little
angels.
Four months later the couple moved to Indian
Territory, where they settled near Afton, Ottawa
County, (Ok.)
The baby boy's mother, Mary Jane, never
recovered from giving birth, she died in
I.T. 7 months, later.
Baby Allen's mother & father are buried in
the Mount Hope Cemetery, Afton,Ottawa County,
Oklahoma.
I have personally visited the cemetery twice
where little Allen is buried.

a picture of the tombstone and placing it
on baby Allen's memorial page. I appreciate
