Glendon Alcorn was wounded in action on the 2nd of August 1943 when the West Novas made an attack on Monte Criscina. Glendon served in B-Company and the West Novas suffered many casulaties that day (20 killed, 35 wounded). Glendon died in a military hospital near Scordio and was also buried there.
