Mrs. Lena Belle Williams Bell, 87 of Clovis died on Saturday, July 26, 2014, at UMC Health Center in Lubbock, Texas.

Services will be at 10 am, Friday, August 1, 2014 at Steed-Todd Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sam Walsh officiating. Burial will follow at Texico Cemetery.
Lena was born in Texico, NM, on January 25, 1927 to Robert and Cora (Allen) Williams. She graduated from Texico High School on May 11, 1944.
On November 7, 1944 Lena married Marvin J. Bell of Clovis, NM. They were married 60 wonderful years. Lena worked for 10 ½ years for Ranchers and Farmers Cattle Auction in the office. Lena once said, "I am a person who loves to be at home; but I am happy this way."

Lena was a member of the Advent Christian Church. Through the years she was a Sunday School teacher, a member of the W.H. & F. M. and a nursery teacher at church. Lena loved the Lord, her family and friends. One of her greatest joys was her children and great-grandchildren. She also loved her dolls and glassware. Another joy was when family and friends came to visit.

Lena is survived by her children; Bob (Christine) Bell of El Cajon, CA; Judy (Dave) Stone of North Aurora, IL; Jim (Joyce) Bell of Yorkville, IL; one brother, Doug (Midge) Williams of Las Cruces, NM; grandchildren; Shannon, Brandi, Troy, Allen, Connie, Audrey, Amanda, Peri, Kenneth, Eric and 16 great grandchildren.

Lena was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Marvin Bell, Lawson Williams (brother), Floyd Williams (brother), Theda Sharp (sister), and Bobbie Davis (sister).

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Stone, Troy Bell, Pat Miner, Jim Bell, Larry Davis and Rocky Williams. Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert Bell, David Stone, Eric Stone, Allen Bumbar and Ron Baker.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Advent Christian Church in Clovis.
