Funeral services for Mr. Sims Anthony Charrier will be at 1 p.m., Thursday, December 27, 2007 at First Baptist Church in Boyce with the Reverends Jim Lofton and Waymon Mott officiating. Burial will be in Bay Springs Cemetery, Chopin under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria.

Mr. Charrier, 82, of Boyce, died Sunday, December 23, 2007 at his residence.
Mr. Charrier was a retired United States Navy and Army veteran having served during the Korean Conflict, WWII, and Vietnam (3 tours). He also retired from the Farmer's Home Administration and was a member of First Baptist Church, Boyce.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Gellena Goynes; wife, Burnia Dee Bridges Charrier; parents, Simon Anthony Charrier and Inez Mayeau Charrier; and a grandchild, Charles Beebe.

Survivors include his sons, Jimmy A. Charrier, Timothy S. Charrier, and Jeremy B. Charrier; a daughter, Cecille Beebe; three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and three great, great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Hixson Brothers in Alexandria and Thursday from 11 a.m. until time of service at the church.
