Funeral services for Mrs. Inez Cecille Beebe will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at Highway 1 Church of God with Reverends Dexter Goins, Roland George, and Steve Smith officiating. Burial will be in Campbell Creek Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria. Visitation will be Monday at the funeral home from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday at the church from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
Mrs. Beebe, 65, of Lena, died Saturday, August 23, 2008 at Rapides Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Beebe was a cook for the Rapides Parish School Board having been especially known for her wonderful cinnamon rolls.
She is preceded in death by a son, Charles Beebe; and parents, Sims Cherrier and Gelina Edwards Cherrier.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Robert S. Beebe; a son, Michael Beebe; brothers, Jimmy, Tim, and Jeremy Cherrier; grandchildren, Michael Beebe, Jr. and Lacy Beebe; and great grandchildren, Emma Lee Cecillia Beebe, Jaden Magallon, and Braelyn Beebe Magallon.
