Daughter of Isaac 'Ike' Plunk and Sarah Elizabeth 'Lizzie' Austin Plunk.
In the 1920 TX census,Justice Precinct 3, Tom Green, Carlsbad, Dorthy and sibling Aberdeen Plunk listed as inmates in Texas State Tuberculosis Sanitarium where Aberdeen was shown as a nurse. I could not find Dorthy or Aberdeen there in the 1930 census.
Occupation: School Teacher
Residence 1926: Dallas, TX
In 1926 Dorthy died at age 30 in Albuquerque, NM and was buried there in the Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery. Her death record shows her occupation as School Teacher and her residence in 1926 as the Presbyterian Sanitarium in Dallas Texas. It is unknown if Dorthy was a nurse or patient there.
She was step-sister to my grandmother, Mary Alena Plunk Moore. I do not know why or how long she had been in Albuquerque before her death. The dates of her birth and death were copied from my grandparents' Family Bible. The information on Albuquerque is from Family Search.
