Ethel F. Mnick, 89, of Syracuse, died Sunday after a long illness. She was a native and life resident of the Syracuse area. Mrs. Mnick was a communicant of St. Brigid & St. Joseph's Church and a member of The Scripture Studies Group. She also was a member of Westside Seniors and The Young at Hearts Club. Mrs. Mnick was predeceased by her husbands, Lloyd Cottrell in 1964 and Chet Mnick in 1979.
Surviving are a niece Marian Brooks, and many grand-nieces and nephews.
Services will be 8:15 a.m. Wednesday at Giminski-Wysocki Funeral Home, 1320 West Genesee St., and 9 a.m. in St Brigid & St. Joseph's Church. Burial Assumption Cemetery. Friends may call 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to St. Brigid & St Joseph's Food Pantry, 318 Herkimer St., Syr., NY 13204. Harold E. Hoare and Kiggins Funeral Home has arrangements.
