Lucy Alice Roberts Sandberg passed away September 1, 2013 at home following a stroke. She was born May 3,1929 in Murray, Utah, to Edward A. Roberts and Gladys Eliason Roberts. She married Ray Farrel Sandberg May 2, 1947 in the Salt Lake Temple. They are the parents of five children: Annette (James) York, Brad (Jodi) Sandberg, Kim (Tom) Castagno, Moana (David) Dalton and Wade (Paula) Sandberg; 22 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 4 step-great- grandchildren. Lucy also has a brother, Claude E. Roberts, who survives her. Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Farrel, and her daughter Kim.
Lucy was devoted to her family. Her greatest joy in life was in supporting them and serving others.
Funeral Services for Lucy will be held Friday Sept. 6, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Clark 2nd ward LDS Chapel, located 81 North Church Street, Grantsville. Visitation Thursday 6-8 at Tate Mortuary 110 S Main, Tooele and Friday 10:00 to 10:45 at the church. Interment, Grantsville City Cemetery.
