She was the daughter of John Benjmain Hall, b. Jun, 1813, in Meigs Co., OH, and Salvina Buffington, b. March 25, 1813, in Ohio. She married Andrew J. Lockhart. Sarah went to jail for the murder of her son-in-law, John Mulholland, but was released when her daughter, Etta Lockhart Story Mullholland Gorrell, confessed. This was shortly after the 1910 census was taken, and she died shortly thereafter, supposedly from heart disease, but I am sure that the stress from having her daughter sent to prison for the murder of her son-in-law, John Mullholland, was a contributing factor.
