Etta Louella Lockhart, daughter of Andrew Jonathan Lockhart and Sarah Hall, was born in Wirt Co., WV. Her first husband was John Oliver Story, by whom she had my grandmother, Fay Elizabeth Minnie Storey (named was spelled differently later), and a daughter, Lillian Storey, and a son, Charlie, whom John murdered. Etta got away from John, but married another man who was another alcoholic, and she ended up killing him in self-defense. He was John Mulholland. She went to prison for his death, but was pardoned by Gov. Hatfield of WV., and she moved to Oklahoma. She married Moses Gorrell, a man many years her senior, and they divorced.
