Fay was born in Red River Co., Texas. She married Charlie Roesler on December 24, 1937 and moved to Needville, Ft. Bend Co., Texas. She raised a son, Charles Lynn, and a daughter, (Mary) Carolyn. Funeral services for Mrs. Fay Roesler, 80, of Needville, were scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Needville.
Rev. George Kuebler was to officiate, with burial following in Greenwood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Roesler died Monday, June 24, at Polly Ryan Memorial Hospital in Richmond.
She was born March 17, 1911 in Avery. She worked as a public school teacher and was a member of the Texas State Teacher's Association and the Easter Star. She was also a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ.
