Funeral services for Mrs. Oliver Huffman, 47, who passed away at the A.V. Ravenswaay Clinic in Boonville October 2, were held at the Methodist church Wednesday afternoon, October 4. Mrs. Huffman had been in ill health for several months.

Kate Friedley was born January 15, 1892, near Versailles, a daughter of Fred H. and Donna Friedley. She was married to Oliver Huffman on March 20, 1918, and to that union nine sons were born, as follows: Cecil, 20, NOrman, 19, Fred, 17, Greg, 15, Aubrey, 13, Donald, 10, Wade, 8, Earl, 7, and Vencil 4.

Besides her husband and nine sons, she is survived by her parents; four brothers, Carrol, Conrad and Fred C., all of Versailles and Oscar of Stover; and three sisters, Mrs. Claud Pippin of Miami, Oklahoma, Mrs. Phillip Sappington, Kansas City, and Mrs. Otto Kroeschen of Versailles.

She was a good wife and mother and will be missed not only by the members of her family but by a host of other relatives and friends who will remember her pleasant face and kindly disposition.

Funeral services wer conducted by Dr. J.E. McDonald, pastor of the Versailles Methodist Church, Interment was in the Versailles Cemetary, Kidwell's in charge.
