BRISTOL, Va. Dobbie Marlee Hudson, age 93, passed away
Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at Wellmont Hospice House.
He was the son of the late Joseph and Goldie Hudson. He was a veteran of World
War II. He was employed by Bristol Steel and Iron works for over 30 years. He
was the oldest member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

He was preceded by his first wife, Maymie Richards Hudson; an infant son; a
granddaughter, Robin Fields; and four infant grandchildren; a brother, Milton
Hudson; two sisters, Mary Lou Chandler and Lorraine Bailey.

Survivors include his wife, Corintha Keese Hudson; three children, Brady Hudson
Sr., and wife, Patsy; Patsy Gross and husband, Vernon and Carolyn Hunigan and
husband, Don; three step-children, Doug Keese, Loretta Hawkes and Yvonne Jett;
six grandchildren, Lee Hudson, Kim Arnold, Mark Hudson, Kerri Estep, Leann
Mahaffey and Beth Adams; 14 great-grandchildren and three
great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 13, 2010,
at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. James Pollock officiating. Burial
will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Lee Hudson, Mark Hudson, Joey Fields, Tyler
Arnold, Zachary Hudson, Richie Arnold, Russ Mahaffey and Gary Estep. Honorary
pallbearer will be Dr. Andrew Brockmyre. The family will receive friends from 11
a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Saturday prior to the service at the church. Memorial
contributions may be sent to Trinity United Methodist Church,
