Corintha Marshall Keesee Hudson, age 97, passed away, Friday, January 31, 2014 at The Cambridge House. She was born April 24, 1916 in Blountville, TN, the daughter of the late Elbert and Mary Ellen Marshall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Baker Keesee and second husband Dobbie Hudson, granddaughters Mary Louise Hawkes and Robin Teresa Hawkes, sisters Mary Sproles, Abbie Brook, Claudine Connor and Lessie Carrier and brothers Hubert Marshall, Herman Marshall and Kimmon Marshall.
She is survived by Son Douglas Keesee and wife Emma Jean Daughters Loretta Hawkes and Yvonne Jett and friend Chuck Lindell Grandson Dick Hawkes and wife Vickie, of Gray, TN Granddaughter Holly Smith and husband Rick, of Pensacola, FL Great Granddaughters Amanda Hawkes and Candace Hawkes Step-Son Brady Hudson and wife Patsy Step-Daughters Patsy Gross and husband Vernon and Carolyn Hunigan and husband Don
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 am, Monday, February 3, 2014 at Mountain View Cemetery with Rev. Michael Somers officiating. There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity. Arrangements have been made with Weaver Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
