Mrs. Mettie Ingram Germany, 85, of Winona died Thursday afternoon, July 3 at the Tyler Holmes Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Germany is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Ruth Putman of Greenwood, her son, Billy Germany of Winona, her brothers, W.E. (Buck) Ingram of Kilmichael and Forrest Ingram of Charleston, 4 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Moore Memorial Methodist Church, the Eastern Star, and the V.F.W. Auxiliary.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 11, at 11 a.m. at the Oliver Chapel. Services were led by the Rev. W. V. Kemp and the Rev. George Cantin and directed by the Oliver Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Dorsey Britt, Bill Golding, H.L. Steed, Wayne Leonard, Benny Germany, and Earl Wayne Patridge.
