Doris Raynetta Brecheisen, Quenemo, died June 19, 2009, at Peterson's Nursing Home, Osage City. She was 87.

She was born Sept 8, 1921, at Lacrosse, the daughter of Wesley and Ruth Waln Adkinson. She lived in Quenemo most of her life and was a homemaker and mother. She was a member of the Vassar United Methodist Church.

She married Leonard Brecheisen, June 15, 1938, at Vassar. He preceded her in death on Aug 27, 1975. She was also preceded in death by two grandsons.

She is survived by three sons, Leroy Brecheisen, Quenemo, Jim Brecheisen, Westminster, Colo., and Fred Brecheisen, Deertrail, Colo.; a daughter, Linda Crettol, Osage City; a brother, Willard Adkinson, Centropolis, eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services were June 24, at the Feltner Funeral Chapel, Lyndon. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery, Quenemo.
