Sarah Mildred Phillips Bradshaw, 92, LaGrange, Mo., died June 26, 2007, in Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill. She was born July 2, 1914, near Ewing, Mo., a daughter of James T. and Fanny Miller Phillips. She married Robert F. Bradshaw on October 4, 1941, in LaGrange. He died on November 15, 2004. She was a graduate of Ewing High School and Quincy Beauty School. She moved to LaGrange to open a beauty shop which she ran for about fifty years. Mrs. Bradshaw served on the Board of Directors at the Farmers and Merchants Bank (now Town and County Bank of Missouri), at LaGrange for many years. She was an active member of the LaGrange United Methodist Church in LaGrange. She is survived by two sons, James Robert of Houston, Texas, and Samuel Charles Bradshaw, Albuquerque, N.M. Also surviving are five grandchildren, one step-grandson, two great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, Leo, Aubrey, Homer and James Phillips and a sister, Hazel Denning. Funeral services were held on June 29, 2007, at the Davis Funeral Home in LaGrange, Mo., with Rev. Michael Mann officiating. Interment was in Marks Cemetery in LaGrange. Music was provided by Mrs. Viola Tracy as organist. Pallbearers were Scott Phillips, Leland Phillips, Jerry Logsdon, Danny Rosencrans, Ed Heller and Derl Bowman. Memorials may be made to the LaGrange United Methodist Church.
