Russell Dane Case, 55, Tunnelton, Box 8, died at 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, 1980 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born on April 26, 1925, in Lawrence County, to Everett and Lizzie Horner Case, he married Nona Kathleen Wever on August 30, 1947, in Indianapolis and she survives.

Mr. Case was a truck driver with the A & H Turck Line. He was a member of Gillen Post. No. 33 of the American Legion; a member of the V.F.W. and the Moose Lodge No. 689; a member of Teamster Local No. 135 and of the Tunnelton United Methodist Church.

Surviving besides the wife, are the mother of Bedford; two sons, Jack D. Case and Jerry D. Case, both of Bedford; two daughters, Mrs. Ronnie (Diane) Speer of Route 16, Bedford; and Mrs. Wendell(Beverly) Bailey of Route 1, Heltonville; six grandchildren; one brother, William Case of Mitchell; three sisters, Mrs. Harold (Honey) Ingle of Tunnelton, Mrs. Russell (Olive) Jones of Bedford, and Mrs. Gerald (Vera) Starr of Michigan. One brother, Alfred, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Bair officiating. Burial will be in Tunnelton Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 until 9 p.m. on Thursday and until funeral time on Friday.
