Jackie D. Case, 68, of Bedford, passed away at his residence on Sunday, May 15, 2022. Born on May 21, 1953, he was the son of Russell D. and Nona (Wever) Case. He married Carla Swank on August 12, 1972 in Bedford and she survives.
Jackie was a graduate of Tunnelton High School with the class of 1971, was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. He retired as a supervisor from General Motors in 2018.
Surviving to cherish the memory of Jackie is his wife, Carla Case of Bedford; two sons, Ryan (Tesla) Case and Rory Case, both of Bedford; grandchildren, Jenevive Case, Russell Case, Roland Case, Ryder Case, Charlotte Case, and Aryan (Greg) Hodges; his mother, Nona Case of Bedford; siblings, Diane (Ronnie) Speer of Leesville, Beverly Bailey of Heltonville, and Jerry Case of Bedford.
Jack was preceded in death by his father, Russell D. Case.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 11:00am at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Bedford with Deacon Dave Reising and Father Jegan Peter officiating. Burial will follow in Tunnelton Cemetery. The family will receive friends at St. Vincent de Paul Church from 10:00am until the service time and all are welcome to stay for the memorial mass.
