GEORGE ROSENTHAL

After a lingering illness, with dropsy and liver trouble, for about three years, George Rosenthal passed away Sunday evening at his home on Fourth St.
The deceased was born in the town of Herman Jan. 31, 1863. He was united in marriage Nov. 29, 1885 to Emma Lite. Of their five children, three died in infancy. The family resided, for 13 years, in Elkhart Lake, where he was engaged in the mason's trade. They then moved to Kiel where Mr. Rosenthal operated a pop factory five years, after which he bought a farm in the town of Rhine, residing there until March 1915 when the family returned to Kiel.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Walter and Arthur; three brothers Henry of Wausau, Louis of Millhome and John of Kiel; and one sister Mrs. Fred Umsonst of the town of Schleswig.
The funeral services were held Wednesday at 12:30, interment in the Kiel cemetery, Rev. Rech officiating.
