Robert Cooley, 58, dies in hospital

Robert Cooley, 58, of Rural Route 1, died Thursday evening at the Cuyuna Range District Hospital in Crosby.

Born Jan.8, 1924 in Roosevelt Township, MN. Cooley was a retired heavy equipment operator for the Crow Wing County Highway Dept. He was a member of the Assemblies of God Church in Little Falls.

Surviving are his wife... [living individual], two sons Gary and [living individual] Cooley, both at home; one daughter, [living individual], also at home; four brothers, Leslie and Wallace (Bud) of Brainerd, Berton of Garrison, and Lloyd of Walker; and three sisters, Miss Mildred Cooley and Miss Myrtle Cooley, both of Brainerd, and Mrs. Wes (Ruby) Tucker of St. Paul.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, and four brothers.

Services are 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Brainerd Assemblies of God Church, with Rev. R.W. Schaible officiating. Burial will be in Dykeman Cemetery.
