Armand was born 14 Aug 1917 at Verdun, Montreal, Quebec, Canada the son of Agapit Pierre Thuot, III and Rose Emma Leblanc who were married 4 Aug 1907 at St Joseph's Church, Cohoes, Albany County, New York. His family moved back to Cohoes in 1919. He was raised and educated in Cohoes.
On 17 May 1941 at St Marie's Church, Cohoes, Albany, New York, he married Marie Rose Lemay daughter of Edmond Lemay and Josephine Corriveau who were married 21 Oct 1901 at St Joseph Church, Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusetts.
Armand served in the United States Navy during World War, II. He became a citizen of the United Stated of America on 29 August 1949 at Troy, Rensselaer County, New York. He legally changed the spelling of his last name from Thuot to Thyot. He worked as a union carpenter, draftsman, and sheet metal worker until he retired in 1982.
Armand and Marie divorced in 1971. He married Edith Pel in 1976 and they divorced six months later. He married Mildred Esther White, Gregg on 7 April 1979 at Emanuel United, Church of Christ, Springfield, Hampden, Massachusetts. They enjoyed dancing and had a dance studio while living in Massachusetts during the 1980's. They moved to North Carolina where Armand spent most of his time drawing with pastels and dancing with Mildred. They moved to Florida in the late 1990's where Armand passed away after a brief illness at Inverness, Citrus County, Florida on 12 March 2008. His body was donated to medical science.
In addition to his wife, Mildred he leaves five children, Armand Robert of Mississippi, Marie A Langan of Arizona, Michelle Radway of Maine, Sullivan James of Maine and Ernest Lionel of Florida, Fifteen grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
