Jeanne was born on 13 September 1909 to Agapit and Emma Leblanc Thuot in Cohoes, New York USA. Her family moved to Canada about 1913. They lived in Lachine and then Verdun. She died of burns received when her dress caught fire while she was trying to heat milk for her infant brother. She died the next day 27 February 1918.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her sister, Henriette and brother, Armand. She was buried at Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Douleurs Cemetery, Verdun,Canada.
