HUDDLESTON, Dora A., 86, resident of Albuquerque for the past 60 years, died in Carlsbad on Wednesday, June 24th. Mrs. Huddleston was a substitute teacher in the Albuquerque school system during WWII, was active in the PTA, and had been very active all her life in the Church of Christ. She had attended West Texas State in 1910. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar L. Huddleston on June 24, 1980, a long time Albuquerque building contractor.

Mrs. Huddleston is survived by a son, Leo N. Huddleston and wife Barbara of Pinellas Park, Fla., and two daughters, Mrs. Dorsa H. Manning and husband Calvin of El Centro, Calif., and Mrs. Patt H. Berardinelli and husband Bob of Santa Fe, N.M., a sister, Mrs. Laura Carlsen of Phoenix, Ariz., three brothers-in-law, Lee Huddleston and wife Lula of Aztec, N.M., Perry Huddleston and wife Blanche of Rincona, N.M., and Chesley and wife Lois of Vista, Calif., 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Huddleston will lie in state at French mortuary from 2:00 p.m. today. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 27 at University Church of Christ. Interment will follow in the family plot in Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials to the Albuquerque Christian Children's Home or the Lakeview Christian Home, 1300 Canal St., Carlsbad, N.M. 88220. Arrangements are through French Mortuary, 111 University, N.E.
