She was a member of Chandler Church of Christ and the Valley Garden Club. She was a volunteer seamstress at Williams Air Force Base during World War II. Survivors include a daughter, Yvonne Powers, three sons, Patrick Moore and George and Richard Dawson, six grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
