Dorothy Leola Moore Wilde Barkau, 85, passed away on March 8, 2008 in Sandy, UT.
She was born on September 17, 1922 in Upton, UT in the family home to David and Pearl Powell Moore. She married Jett Wilde on June 15, 1939 (deceased 1980). Married Louis Barkau on March 22, 1981 (deceased 1992). She enjoyed embroidery work, gardening and cooking. Her greatest accomplishments were her seven daughters and her grandchildren.
Survived by her daughters Janet (Bob) Johnson, Una (Frank) Murphy, Connie (Bob) Lund, Pearl (Nick) Beck, Pat (Jim) Lerdahl, Jetta (Alan) Anderson and Dottie (Alan) Ihler; 26 grandchildren, 58 great-grand-children, seven great-great-grand-children. Preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, four sisters Ardella, Marion, Marie, Fern and brother Edward; two great-grandsons Travis Blanchard and Carson Wheeler.
Graveside Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at the Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery, 6500 S. Redwood Rd. A Visitation will be one hour prior to Services at the Mortuary.
