Note: Samuel was found in the Highland Cemetery records which has been transcribed as "Son of T & P". On the 1900 Census, it is noted that Pauline had given birth to seven children, four of them living in that year. As there were no other Weidemaiers found in Doniphan County during this time period and the other children of Peter and Pauline were born in this timeframe, Samuel is assumed to be one of the three unidentified children who did not survive. His burial plot is adjacent to Peter and Pauline but no tombstone was present in October, 2012.
Samuel did not show on the 1865 Kansas Census enumerated in February, 1865 so it is assumed he was born after February, 1865.
