Spent many years hunting "the big one" and now as per the pic they come to him. The buck in the pic is often sitting next to or right on grandpa's headstone. I will always remember the great hunting trips as a family and miss not having grandpa there to continue. I will always remember our family trips to Yellowstone every summer, and getting to go down to the convenience store to pick up the Sunday paper in grandpa's old Chevy pick up when I would spend the night at their house.
Grandpa fought the infection that gradually took his spirit for six months. He fought hard to stay with grandma and the rest of us. Eventually we had to tell him it was alright to go if he had to and his spirit slipped from his body two hours later.
