Cause of Death: Heart Dropsy
He moved to Long Creek, near Alco, AR in 1885. A hearthstone dated 1886 is still on the old homesite but it is not known who put it there. He made sorghum every year. He would go to Little Rock, Ar once a year to take a load of apples, chickens, etc to sale. It would take 10 or 11 days to go to Little Rock and come back.
