Fred H. Keyt 84, Cumberland, IN died Feb. 12, 2009. Fred was a United States Navy Veteran of WW II and a member of Cross of Grace Lutheran Church in New Palestine, American Legion, Gem and Mineral Society and a charter member of OASIS. He had worked for Ransburg Corp. for 16 years and L. S. Ayres until his retirement in 1987. On June 17, 1951 Fred married Elna C. (Jensen) Keyt, who survives. Fred is survived by two brothers, Thomas E. and Robert H. Keyt; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Nellie (Rudyard) Keyt and a brother, James E. Keyt. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, Feb. 16 at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center – Washington Park East. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17 at Cross of Grace Lutheran Church, 3519 S 600 W Road New Palestine, IN. Friends may visit at the church after 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Burial: Washington Park East Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Cross of Grace Lutheran Church.(Indy Star)
