Mrs. Laura A. Shadle, 86, widow of Charles H. Shadle, died yesterday morning at the home of her son, Bruce B. Hoover, 1607 West Poplar Street. Other survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Bessie Sprenkle, Bella Vista, Harrisburg; Mrs. Olive Wilson, Harrisburg and Mrs. Eva Miller, Enola; two other sons, Marlyn W. Hoover, Harrisburg and L. R. Hoover, Harrisburg R.D. 3; two stepsons, Irvin Shadle, York and Charles Shadle, Harrisburg; 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter, three sisters, Mrs. Sarah Flickinger, Los Angeles; Mrs. Vera Krecker, Buffalo, N.Y. and Mrs. Mary Weaver, Reading, and a brother, Charles Flickinger, Altoona. She was a member of Epworth Methodist Church of Harrisburg. Her pastor, the Rev. Ariel R. Turner, will conduct the funeral at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Geigle Funeral Home, Third and MacClay Streets, Harrisburg. Interment will be in East Harrisburg Cemetery.
