HERNDON - Mabel I. Adams, 75, of Herndon RD 1 died yesterday in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was a member of David's United Church of Christ, Hebe.
Surviving are her husband, Nathan A. Adams; six sons, Melvin of Herndon RD 2, Jackie, Robert and Steve, all of Herndon RD 1, Roy of Sunbury RD 3 and Jeffrey of Dornsife; five daughters, Leona Moncuse of Riverside, Calif., Shirley Jimison of Port Trevorton, Patricia Byle of Powder Springs, Ga., Linda Leach of Dalmatia and Bonnie Klinger of Dornsife; a brother, Ray Shaffer of Spring Glen; three sisters, Annabelle Wert and Mildred Harner, both of Spring Glen, and Erma Strohecker of Herndon RD 1; 29 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in her church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Reed Funeral Home, Pillow.
