Orville H. Bray, 86, died on Tuesday, January 16, 2001, at Liberty, Mo.

He was born near Weatherby on November 14, 1914. He graduated from Weatherby High School in 1933. He was a long-time resident of DeKalb County. He was a self-employed farmer.

Orville was a member of the DeKalb County Historical Society, and a former board member of the A.S.C.S. at Maysville and served two terms. He was a former member of the Mabel Worship Center, Cameron and served as Sunday School Teacher. He was also a board member and trustee of the church. At his death, he was a member of the Glad Tidings Church.

Orville married Elmo R. Whiteaker, on March 8, 1940. She survives of the home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Lillie Dice Bray; two sisters, Florence Bray and Flossie Marshall; four brothers, Ralph M. Bray, John Bray, James Bray and an infant baby brother.

Survivors include two sons, Stanley E. Bray, Cameron, Wayne N. Bray, Simi Valley, California; one daughter, Donna I. Michael, Platte City; two brothers, Phillip Bray, Cameron; Samuel Bray Jr., Cameron; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services: Friday, January 19, 2001, Maysville, Mo.

Burial: Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, East of Maysville, Mo.
