Mrs. Dunn, wife of J. C. Dunn, Esq. of Saline Twp., Sherdian County, died the 15th, instant of dropsy. (Evidently Feb. 15th, as the paper was dated March 2.) She leaves one daughter, the wife of H. W. Miller, Esq. She died there on a visit. She was a lady aged about 50 years, and came to this state from Iowa about 2 years ago. She was universally loved and respected by all who knew her. Mr. Dunn has sympathy of many friends.
Family Research- Sarah Jane McConnell Dunn, died suddenly February 15, 1882 of dropsy while visiting at the home of her daughter, Mary Jane Miller. Mrs. Dunn is buried at the Buffalo Park Cemetery, now called Park Cemetery, located in Gove County, Kansas.
