Worley, MacKay L., age 73, of Bloomington, formerly of Rochester, MN and Nebraska, died of cancer. Preceded in death by brother Donald. Survived by loving wife of 47 years, Phyllis; daughter, Lynnette; sister, Suzann Worley; sister-in-law, Byrdeen Worley; aunt, Kathryn Barnes; and many nieces and nephews. He was a 37 year employee of Interstate Detroit Diesel; 37 year member of Emerson Church; a good friend to everyone. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Emerson Church Scholarship Fun. Interment at Fort Snelling. Memorial Service will be Tuesday at 11 AM at Emerson congregational United church of Christ, 7601 Girard Ave. S. , Richfield, MN. Visitation is one hour prior to service at the church and Monday from 5-7 p.m. at Werness Brothers, 2300 W. Old Shakopee Rd. Burial 11 February 2003, Snelling National Cemetery.

MacKay L. Worley, 73, died of cancer on Wednesday, February 5, 2003, at his home. He was born at Alliance and attended Alliance High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Upon his return from military service, he started Worley Diesel Service at Hemingford,Box Butte County, Ne where he worked until 1960, when he and his wife moved to Minnesota. He and his family returned to the Alliance area frequently for visits, where he enjoyed visiting his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Phyllis; and daughter Lynette. He also is survived by his sister, Suzanne Worley; sister-in-law, Byrdeen Worley; aunt, Katherine Barnes; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Helen Worley and brother Donald Worley. Mr. Worley's funeral will be Tuesday, February 11, at Richfield, Minnesota. Burial will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
