DEVER RESIDENT, FORMER ALBANY MAN IS CALLED. Samuel S. Armstrong, 82, died at his home in the Dever neighborhood at 11:00 o'clock this morning. He had made his home near Dever for the last year, formerly living in Albany for three years.Mr. Armstrong was born in Arkansas in 1842, and had been a resident of Albany and vicinity for the last few years. He is survived by his widow, five sons and one daughter and several grand-children.The sons are Arthur and Osroe Armstrong of the Conser neighborhood; Lansing of Coquille, and Ewing and Sam Armstrong of Malheur county. The daughter is Mrs. Crosby of Los Angeles.The funeral will probably be held at the Fortmiller chapel Monday forenoon, Rev. T. J. McCrossan preaching the funeral sermon. Burial will be in the Millersburg cemetery.

No headstone or burial record at Millersburg although death certificate and obituary state this is where he was buried. Riverside Cemetery in Albany may be the location.
