Mrs. Narsis Armstrong, 85, a native of Illinois, died at her home at Conser at 7 o'clock Wednesday evening, Oct. 26. She was born March 22 in 1842 and had been a resident of Oregon for 40 years. she spent her early life in Illinois, Arkansas and California, coming with the family by ox team to CA. she was married in Arkansas to S. S. Armstrong who died in August 1924. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Anna Crosby of Los Angeles and six sons as follows: Lansing, Henry, Osroe, Sam and Arthur Armstrong all of Albany and E. L. Armstrong of Riverside, Washington co of this state, also 11 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Mrs. Armstrong was a member of the Presbyterian church. Funeral services will be at the Interdenominational church of Albany sat by Rev. W. C. Faucette. Burial will be at Millersburg cemetery.
