Terry Monroe Aldridge, 67, of Blackshear, passed away Saturday afternoon, January 21, 2006, at St. Luke's Hospital in Jacksonville, (Duval County) Florida following a sudden illness.
A native and life-long resident of Pierce County, he was a truck driver for Thom's Transport and was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Monroe and Willie Mae Lewis Aldridge.
Survivors include his wife, Melba Rowland Aldridge, Blackshear; three daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Harrell Payne and Frances and Joseph Rowland, all of Blackshear and Angie and Ron Smith, Patterson; two sisters, Judy Aldridge, Fernandina Beach, FL and Ginger Aldridge, Sarasota, FL; seven grandchildren, Terry Payne, Phyllis Payne, Amanda Sauls, Jessica Guy, Kayla Huggins, Ryan Smith and Terry Smith; two great-grandchildren, James Sauls Jr. and Reese Payne and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Memorialization is by cremation.
The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
