Grenta, LA – Charles D. Barr, 46 a retired business owner, died of cancer Wednesday at Southern Baptist Hospital in New Orleans.
Services are 2 p.m. Sunday at Baldwin –Lee Funeral Home in Pearl with burial at Fairmount Waco Cemetery in Smith County. Baldwin-Lee is handling arrangements.
Mr. Barr a Morton native was a member of McLaurin Heights Baptist Church. He was retired owner and manager of a florist shop. He moved from Pearl to Gretna 15 years ago.
Survivors include son David Conway Barr of Brandon; daughter, Victoria DeShaye Barr of Brandon; parents David E. and Frances Barr of Brandon; brother, Billy G. Barr of Pearl and Kenneth R. of Brandon; and sister, Dorothy Stuart of Brandon.
