Last Rites held Thursday for Adolph Sidlo

Funeral services for Adolph Sidlo, who died Tuesday morning after an illness of only about twenty-four hours duration, were conducted at the family home, north of Red Cloud Thursday afternoon by Rev. Ralph E. Adams and burial was made in the city cemetery.

Adolph Sidlo, son of Joseph and Mary Sidlo, was born in Webster county March 15th, 1884 and passed away at his home north of Red Cloud, April 19th, 1938, aged 54 years, 1 month and 4 days.

Mr. Sidlo first saw the light of existence in the parents' family homestead nine miles north of here and his entire life has been spent and lived in this immediate vicinity.

November 24th, 1908 he was united in marriage to Emma Hubatka. To this union four children were born, two sons and two daughters.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his loving wife, two sons, Ralph and Adolph Jr. of Red Cloud; two daughters, Mrs. Johnnie Fair of Red Cloud and Mrs. Carl Muhleisen, of Blue Hill; two brothers, Joe of Bladen and Edd Sidlo of Red Cloud; six sisters, Mrs. Mary Dusek of Bladen, Mrs. James Zitek of Blue Hill, Mrs. Jake Portenier of Guide Rock, Mrs. Charles Harpham of Taylor and Mrs. John Holsworth of Alberta, Canada, seven grandchildren and a host of friends and neighbors.

His parents and a sister, Mrs. Walter Taylor, preceded him in death.
